From our customers

We’ve been to Bangkok Basil many times with family, and have always had a great meal! The owner is always very pleasant to talk with, and prompt when ordering. Try the Swimming Rama, and you wont be disappointed! Will continue to go back again and again!

Bangkok about once a week for Thai, this has become our favorite spot on the east side! The food is so good, service is awesome, staff is always great. Love the red and green curry, curry fried rice, fried tofu, spring roles... I’ve pretty much loved everything I’ve tried tbh, you really can’t go wrong.

This place has absolutely amazing and delicious food in town. Every dish has such mouth watering flavors.
I ordered basil fried rice, Bangkok stir fry, and they both were super delicious.
And please don’t forget to try mango sticky rice, you’ll not regret! Enjoy!

I love this place! A must visit every time I’m in Redmond.
Live in PDX but come for business a lot and Bangkok Basil always treat me right. Can’t wait for the dang pandemy to be over and dine in. Eating in the hotel is not the same, but still the food always holds up phenomenally well, even the crispy chicken!

Love love love their Khao Soi! Excited to try a new dish every time I go.
Always top notch!
Thank you, BKK Basil!

Bangkok Basil is a family-owned restaurant serving authentic, home-style Thai food. We use trusted, age-old recipes that started in our grandmother’s modest, coal-fueled kitchen in Bangkok, Thailand. Using only fresh, high quality ingredients, all dishes are made to order and prepared with great care. Our family welcomes you to dine with us in our comfortable, intimate restaurant.

The story of Bangkok Basil began long before the grand opening in November 2011. The restaurant started many years ago when owner and cook, Anna said “I do” to her food loving husband, Ron. After joining the family Anna was privy to Ron’s family recipes and began the 3 decade long process of mastering them. The two spent the early years of their marriage running a popular noodle restaurant adjacent to their home in Bangkok, Thailand. In the chase for the American dream, the couple immigrated to the US after their first daughter was born in 1986. It was only after 25 years of painstakingly adapting the family’s favorite dishes that Anna decided she wanted to share them with her community. It was then that the couple decided to open their first restaurant in nearly 3 decades.
